Some Interesting Stuff: What - Far Cry 5 Part 10

Well, to start off, let's just say that some of the stuff in this video was... interesting to say the least.

Ok, that's enough about the video, now for some real talk. I had to postpone this video forever until I got a job, but now that I have a job it's been a pain in the butt to schedule school, work, and YouTube. But I haven't given up.

What I'm going to do to start is finish up all the pre-recorded series (there are still a bunch of videos waiting to be edited), and after that I may do some more traditional videos, but another likely scenario is doing what people like VideogameDunkey and RTGame do, which is stream then edit the highlights. I already have a hilarious Skyrim stream set up in this way because something absolutely friggin' hilarious happened and I'm trying to keep it streamable. The only trouble is that I have to remember what the plan was in the video, although I'm sure at least part of it will come back to me as the stream goes on. This isn't likely to become the new format, but I thought it'd be fun to try out.

Anyways, no schedule yet, but in the future will be more Far Cry, a finish to Doki Doki complete with poems, DOOM, and possibly more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Well, definitely more S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but whether I record more is up for grabs.

I guess that's it for now. If you still haven't joined my Discord server, that's a great place for more live and up-to-date updates. if you'd like more than the possibly-one-per-video updates. https://discord.gg/hxMYGTb

Rest In Peace, Sayori...: We'll Miss You - Doki Doki Literature Club! Part 9

A clever gamer named sparkypi
Thought of something to go past your eye
The first poem, you see
With a highlight will be
A slight twist that foreshadows this video
How sly

I Love Baking!: Sayori, I... - Doki Doki Literature Club! Part 8

Let's make this poem about baking, since I love it so much:

Chocolate cookies on a baking sheet
What a wonderful thing you can eat
You can hardly notice the human meat
And a set of two wonderful pies
'Twas love when first sight set my eyes
Though everyone who eats them soon dies
Take a baking sheet and some good stuff
Though the process can be a bit tough
They won't stop squirming, you can't stab enough
But in the end you always have joy
And a fail-safe friend-making ploy
Let's just hope that they don't taste poor Roy

Having Natsuki Over: Things Just Got Real - Doki Doki Literature Club Part 7

Poem 7:

There was a man from Honalee
Who dreamt he was drinking some tea
He awoke very late
His thirst so to sate
To find out he had been drinking pee

Causing Discontinuities In The Timelines: Well This Poem Is... Different - Doki Doki Literature Club Part 6

This sixth one's a little brighter (made from the in-game keywords -
parfait, giggle, kawaii, flower, fluffy, anime, bouncy, pink, valentine, cute, heart, games, whistle, sparkle, silly, forgive, insight, wonderful, boop, tenacious)

The parfait melts slowly in the oven
I giggle as a kawaii flower slowly forms
The fluffy cream takes a lot of lovin'
Takes time to make this in the dorms

Sitting down to anime as it storms
The couch is bouncy and pink
Like a valentine breaking all the norms
How I wish it was made of cute mink!

As I lay on this heart and sink
On its fluffy pads I play games
I whistle a tune and move Link
As Navi sparkles and moves in the frames

What a silly picture my figure claims
Please forgive my lack of insight
But the wonderful feeling of tonight proclaims
That a boop on my cat's nose is a delight

To invite someone over, I might
But tenacious as I've ever been
The thought of friends over's a fright
However pleasant the din of their torment and screams

Something's not right...: Bittersweet... - Doki Doki Literature Club Part 5

A fifth poem, how sweet (made from the in-game keywords - massacre, graveyard, suicide, anger, atone, scars, explode, horror, frightening, disarray, tragedy, pain, misery, hopeless, misfortune, judgement, broken, depression, death, unrequited)

Uh... let's somehow turn these into a Natsuki poem...

Baking a cake, a chocolate massacre
Candles like a graveyard adorning its crown
Eating this deliciousness is suicide
But your anger will subside with every bite
And you will want to atone for the scars you have caused

It explodes with flavor
Others watch in horror as I eat
A frightening amount of sugar
The frosting in disarray
But it would be a tragedy to leave it alone

I eat away my pain and misery
No longer hopeless
My misfortune melts in my mouth
As they cast judgement on my diet
My broken pieces melded together with sugar

No longer do I feel depression
As I finish each savory bite
This meal may be the death of me
But fear's smile on me is left unrequited
And I will die happy tomorrow

Natsuki Used Taunt! It's Super Effective!: Closet Conundrum - Doki Doki Literature Club! Part 4

Here's a fourth poem from the Doki Doki book of poetry (made from the in-game keywords - clouds, kawaii, fantasy, chocolate, vibrant, silly, anime, hop, parfait, kitty, flying, rainbow, fluffy, intellectual, extreme, kiss, twirl, boop, bunny, fireflies):

I watch the clouds on a sunny eve
Their kawaii shapes swirl in my fantasy

A chocolate castle, vibrant with silly creatures:
An anime girl hopping from a parfait
A little kitty, flying near the rainbows
The fluffy intellectual in extreme thought
Given a soft kiss from a twirling dancer
Then booped on the nose by a cloud-white bunny

Fireflies dancing around the scene
As the castle is set ablaze
Dooming them all to a fiery end

But Who To Show First?: Poem Time! - Doki Doki Literature Club! Part 3

Poem 3:

For whom do I show all my love?
The one who is prettiest?
The one with the best heart.
The one who is wisest.

Wherefore do my efforts lie?
The place I enjoy?
The place I can help most.
The place where God puts me.

But why do I

Good Ol' Ryan Conway, That Douche: Try To Stay Stealth - Far Cry 5 Part 3

Ryan Conway, the annoying legend. At least he try to stay stealth, up until the end there! *spoiler alert* Ryan actually does like, half my work for me in the next episode. Basically clears an entire outpost singlehandedly. So yeah, I know I said in this episode that he was annoying because he might die, but now he's annoying because he's kind of a show-off.

But for real, guys, our boy Ryan needs some loving. If someone could make fan art or a fun image of him, he deserves it. Thanks.

Everything Is So Cutsie It Hurts: Accidentally Cute - Doki Doki Literature Club! Part 2

Here we go with poem number 2 (made from the in-game keywords - special, kitty, sugar, jumpy, fun, pink, joy, hop, kiss, fluffy, smile, vibrant, bubbles, bunny, bouncy, kawaii, sparkle, giggle, rainbow, skirt):

My special kitty, sugar, went jumping from the couch
It's really fun to see her upon a pink chair slouch
Every day she brings me joy as she hops up for a kiss
Her fluffy face brings smiles, her vibrant hair pure bliss
I sometimes blow her bubbles as she chews her new toy bunny
As she jumps around to pop them, her bouncy figure is real funny
I made her real kawaii with a handful of some sparkles
She jumped on me, I giggled as a rainbow splashed my skirt when I stabbed her eye marbles

Yeah, I think Natsuki would really like this poem, even considering how this basically infers I cross-dress in my free time.

Also, isn't it funny how they do the special event before they see the actual poem? How do they know that they'll want to be with you that day? Are they sneaking into my bag to read the poem early?! O.o what creeps!

I'll be posting actual blog posts after a certain point rather than just poems. You'll know what that point is. But even when I do start actual posts, I'll still try to create poems for the episodes.

It's A Hard Habit, To Kick: Kicking Habit - Far Cry 5 Part 2

Not much to say about this episode... I'm sure there would be if I made this blog right after I recorded and edited the video like I do most videos. But this Summer is a bit different, so I'm actually writing this blog like, I don't know, a month or two after recording and a month after editing. I suppose that's something to talk about... but I guess I just did.

Another thing to talk about, I guess, is that I just learned today exactly how much I consider what's done is in the past. Ya see, in everything I make, I consider it to be not a part of the living channel, but a part of the history of the channel. In other words, what I edit and upload today is the living channel, and the videos I've already uploaded and their blog posts are history. I'm hoping to keep it this way so one day we all look back and see, "Oh, that's interesting", or, "Oh, so that's how he/I did it back then", or, "Man, I wish the phrasing on this was different, but I guess that's just how I thought back then." For this reason, if I find an error, correction, or addition that could be fixed or added in past blog posts, I don't add it because it wasn't part of the original post.

My thinking process and style change all the time, it's very fluid. So one day in a few years, just come back to these posts and reflect on how different they are. Same person, probably never going to change, but also going to change in almost every way. It's crazy to think about, and crazy to see, I would know. I live with myself, so I've seen it the most. I change so much, yet not at all.

Anyways, the thing I noticed today was exactly how far I take that. I was looking through the video for today to find a good thumbnail, and when I got to the end, in the outro, I started watching the outro to practice my pi recitation skills, but then stopped. For some reason, it felt like I was violating past-me's... something by listening to it in the editor. I don't know, it's weird to think about. I was somehow violating my own thoughts by simply watching the end of a video. I mean, if I really wanted to I could've gone on, but for some reason it just felt wrong, and I don't know why.

Anyways, that's enough of my weird, quirky self for today. Here's the video, as usual, for you to enjoy.

Poems And Literature And Games, Oh My!: Oh Boy, A Dating Sim! - Doki Doki Literature Club Part 1

Since I finished the game before making these blog posts, I can't really do "blog" activity in direct relation to the episodes, so instead I'm going to write poems either entirely of my own creation or using the words selected in the episodes (I'll indicate which one's which).

So the first poem is this:

Natsuki, Yuri, and me
Stuck Sayori up in a tree
Out came her frown
She made her way down
On the way she had hurt her poor kneeck on the end of a rope

Lol, don't expect much from the earlier poems, they're just kind of thrown together. I'll try harder in later episodes.>:)

He's Seriously Doing The Praise The Sun Thing, Though: Praise The Sun! I Mean.. The Father! - Far Cry 5 Part 1

Boy, am I excited for this game. It has all my favorite stuff in it:
Guns, games, Christianity, a Dark Souls reference, AAA franchise "quality" (note the clip at the beginning of the video), and lots of cutscenes to take up a full hour long episode just to start the game!

Only one of those was sarcastic, btw.

Anyways, this is what I'm proud to announce is the first episode of a full Summer of fun! Unlike last Summer, this time I actually have a full Summer's worth of episodes recorded and ready to edit! Here's how it'll basically work out:

Mon/Thurs - Game 1 (starting with Far Cry 5)
Tues/Fri - Game 2 (starting with Doki Doki Literature Club)
Saturday - Game 3 (starting with a casual S.T.A.L.K.E.R playthrough)
Wed - Up for grabs (most likely nothing, sometimes skits/streams)
All week - Occasional streams

This will hopefully go through August and into Fall if we're lucky, but no promises on that front. The Summer is definitely going to be jam-packed with exciting stuff though, so watch out world!

(Channel intro coming soon)

Pie By The Campfire: Pi Day Camp Songs!

This year I was super late making the Pi Day video (in fact, it was 12:42 AM the next day before I got it uploaded), but I'm super happy with the result!

I had all these ideas for silly edits and extras, but at the (very late) time I uploaded, it seemed like a better idea to keep it simple and just use what I had on-hand.

Besides that, if you want the lyrics for the songs to sing at your next campfire gathering of super nerds, here you go!

Song 1:
It’s pi day it’s pi day it’s piiii day
A wonderful way to pi, a wonderful way to pie
It’s pi day it’s pi day it’s piiii day
A wonderful way to pi, a wonderful way to die

Song 2:
We lost our tiiin, we lost our tiiin
We have no use, for your crust now (for your crust nooooow)
Booooooo

Song 3:
Have you ever seen a pie tin a pie tin a pie tin
Have you ever seen a pie tin well there’s one right now
Bakes this way and that way and this way and that way
Have you ever seen a pie tin well there’s one right now

Song 4:
Row row row your boat gently down the stream
Throw your best friend overboard and eat their pie and ‘cream

Song 2 (Reprise):
We found our tiiin, we found our tiiin
We have some use, for your crust now (for your crust nooooow)
Wooooooo
