Here I will be posting my thoughts, actions, and other misc. information pertaining to my videos. This could be thoughts on something I recorded and the finished product, recent events and my opinions, or little tips and tricks I learned that you could use for your channel. Whatever it is, the info will be in this blog. Be sure to check back often, too, because some day I may post a little Easter Egg ;).
So many great things happening this episode! We made two new friends, found two more dogs, got lots of money, watched 1002 people die... all around it was a very fine day! How about in the real world? Eh, well, in the real world things are going slow. It's hard to find motivation to do YouTube sometimes when nobody's watching, but then you get that 1-2 views that keep you going through the hardest times. It helps that I still love making the videos, and I still have hope that even if not today, someday people will be entertained by the content I'm putting out now. The future will make today's effort worth it. ... It would just be nice if the future came sooner, that's all...
Going a little slow today, if you don't mind. One Break The Game video. It sucks because Bannerlord keeps acting up, so I couldn't make a video on that today. I'll put more of that up tomorrow though, so it's alright :). Hope we get to see more copy cat and dog!
Broo I so got you hahaha... Yeah... All, two of you? Maybe? Yeah..... It's a bit sad being a small YouTuber. But today's a fun day! April Fools! It's so fun doing this stuff every year, even when it keeps me up 'till 8 AM when I'm usually in bed at 5 AM. I was initially going to just have this as a Skyrim modded run for 30 mins that I just uploaded on its own, but then the idea to split it up and add effects came to me and I ended up making 10 different 5 minute videos all with different effects. The end result is kinda what I wanted and kinda not. It kinda is because I wanted something weird and unique to post today, but it kinda isn't because I didn't really think about it before around midnight :/. Very little planning, very little time for execution (only got about the 3 hours after I was supposed to be asleep to work on it). BUT! It turned out, and I'm glad I got to celebrate another "holiday" with you all :). All... all of you... oh goodness the realization is returning, uh... LOOK! A distraction! Lol, happy April Fools :). After eight long years it's finally released - Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord! Anybody who knows Warband has been waiting for a very long time for this game's release. Ages of "Bannerlord when?" have finally been answered. At long last, the peasants shall have their harvesting season! I can't tell you how much my brother and I are excited to play through this. After so long of playing and messing around with Warband, we get the sequel we've always wanted. I can't wait to try out all the new features and make a full run of it, and I doubt anybody else out there can either, considering the Steam metrics absolutely exploded upon its release XD. So rise, butterlords; rise! Take your place at the high table of Uxkhal, and raise your skulls... to Taleworlds!
Maggie's Dead... Haha, what? That's a spoiler for you? You do realize these posts are meant to be read after watching the episode, right? Oh my.. that's gotta be quite the surprise, then. Oof, sorry about that, guess I should have mentioned something sooner. Ah well. Also, MOUNT AND BLADE BANNERLORD IS OUT! So definitely expect videos of that asap.
It's funny how easily something can become a "thing". For instance, I just saw one of those little motes, saw they could be shot, and I was like, "they're evil now"; and now they are, at least in my world. Same thing with the "Prometheus, Conqueror of Worlds" thing. The guy says it in the game, and suddenly everyone who's played this game makes that the title of their video and it's the funniest thing ever. Strange, huh? Still funny tho XD.
The game isn't taking my probes into its hidden levels and secrets very well. It's started a counter-attack. Tomorrow, we retaliate with full force. UNLEASH THE BUNNIES!
Eve is fine. She just exploded into a gory pink mess, that doesn't mean she's dead. The motes are learning to disguise themselves though, the evil bastards. One of them almost got me by disguising themselves as a blue light and standing near an actual blue light. When will the torment end? Lol, but in all seriousness... I have nothing serious to discuss. And we're back, and better than ever! By back, I mean that tentatively. And by better than ever, I mean that almost purely in terms of audio. But we're still back, and with improvements! So here's the deal for the short term. I am not in a position to use camera, so that extra bit will be absent for a few videos. But here's the upside: I got the PewDiePie Razer Nari Ultimate! Yes, the Nari Ultimate is awesome, and yes, the PewDiePie design is epic. But, that's not the reason I'm mentioning that. The true reason is that my old headphones were dying day by day. At some point the mic went out, and soon after I accidentally spilled water on them and the left headphone stopped working. Let me tell you, it is no treat trying to make a video when you can only hear out of your right ear, and it's not easy making new recordings when all you have is an omni-directional mic. So much background noise... so much... But it's all better now! Now I can hear the atrocious mixing in previous videos better than ever! Oh my goodness did it suck. But now, not only can I hear out of both ears, I also get a simulated 3D surround system to mix with! And a (very muted for some reason) hot new mono-directional microphone! ... So please believe me when I say I know how terrible the audio is in this video XD Hey, I tried! But there's something up with the mic and I only found out after making the video that OBS wasn't recording desktop audio. The next video all this should be fixed, but for now please bear with me. It's tough getting back on the YouTube wagon, but totally worth the effort! Alright, enough rambling for this post. We'll save any more rambling for the next video's post! Or maybe just a standalone rambling post, who knows. I'm ramblin', ramblin' round, I'm a ramblin' guy...
