Here I will be posting my thoughts, actions, and other misc. information pertaining to my videos. This could be thoughts on something I recorded and the finished product, recent events and my opinions, or little tips and tricks I learned that you could use for your channel. Whatever it is, the info will be in this blog. Be sure to check back often, too, because some day I may post a little Easter Egg ;).
Since I finished the game before making these blog posts, I can't really do "blog" activity in direct relation to the episodes, so instead I'm going to write poems either entirely of my own creation or using the words selected in the episodes (I'll indicate which one's which). So the first poem is this: Natsuki, Yuri, and me Stuck Sayori up in a tree Out came her frown She made her way down On the way she had hurt her poor kneeck on the end of a rope Lol, don't expect much from the earlier poems, they're just kind of thrown together. I'll try harder in later episodes.>:)
Boy, am I excited for this game. It has all my favorite stuff in it: Guns, games, Christianity, a Dark Souls reference, AAA franchise "quality" (note the clip at the beginning of the video), and lots of cutscenes to take up a full hour long episode just to start the game! Only one of those was sarcastic, btw. Anyways, this is what I'm proud to announce is the first episode of a full Summer of fun! Unlike last Summer, this time I actually have a full Summer's worth of episodes recorded and ready to edit! Here's how it'll basically work out: Mon/Thurs - Game 1 (starting with Far Cry 5) Tues/Fri - Game 2 (starting with Doki Doki Literature Club) Saturday - Game 3 (starting with a casual S.T.A.L.K.E.R playthrough) Wed - Up for grabs (most likely nothing, sometimes skits/streams) All week - Occasional streams This will hopefully go through August and into Fall if we're lucky, but no promises on that front. The Summer is definitely going to be jam-packed with exciting stuff though, so watch out world!
This year I was super late making the Pi Day video (in fact, it was 12:42 AM the next day before I got it uploaded), but I'm super happy with the result! I had all these ideas for silly edits and extras, but at the (very late) time I uploaded, it seemed like a better idea to keep it simple and just use what I had on-hand. Besides that, if you want the lyrics for the songs to sing at your next campfire gathering of super nerds, here you go! Song 1:
It’s pi day it’s pi day it’s piiii day
A wonderful way to pi, a wonderful way to pie
It’s pi day it’s pi day it’s piiii day
A wonderful way to pi, a wonderful way to die
Song 2:
We lost our tiiin, we lost our tiiin
We have no use, for your crust now (for your crust nooooow)
Booooooo
Song 3:
Have you ever seen a pie tin a pie tin a pie tin
Have you ever seen a pie tin well there’s one right now Bakes this way and that way and this way and that way
Have you ever seen a pie tin well there’s one right now
Song 4:
Row row row your boat gently down the stream
Throw your best friend overboard and eat their
pie and ‘cream Song 2 (Reprise):
We found our tiiin, we found our tiiin
We have some use, for your crust now (for your crust nooooow)
Hey, may as well start adding sparkypiii miniskits here, why not? So I bought a ream of 500 pieces of printer paper for $6.00 so I could start learning to draw, but then I thought to myself, "You know what you do that nobody else does? Eat paper. You should make a video on that." And I did. In case you're wondering, I don't make a habit of eating paper, but you know how if you tear out a notebook page, there's still the stuff stuck to the swirly part? That stuff bugs me, so I take it out, and since it'd be too annoying to stand up in class to throw it away, I eat it. Anyways, that's all besides the point, the point is you should start buying in bulk. It saves you tons of time and money, removing the need to go to the store every day for the tiniest thing. I recommend Sam's Club, they have some really good deals and some awesome exclusive items. Their notebook paper is to die for. (Also, if you're wondering, I'm just too lazy and it's 2 in the morning, so I'm probably not going to make a thumbnail for this one)
There's not much to say on this episode besides that I still really love Hollow Knight! Man, does this game rock. I mean, there's plenty of stuff in the game, but these are made after editing is done, and occasionally (as in this case) several days after making it. So right now, I'm making this blog off of the memory of what that episode is like, and my memory is terrible XD. Looking through it quickly though, I do remember the little singing bug who mines in the caves (and a weird thing that happened in a personal playthrough), she was really cool. Singing is a great way to pass the time when doing work, and I really admire her attitude, too. If you're wondering what the weird thing that happened in my personal playthrough was, here it is: In a completely separate game, haven't met her before, she gave me the dialogue she should give after talking to her about five times! Wtf, did it carry that info from my YouTube save or what? Anyways, that was just a weird and confusing thing that happened, and I don't know why. Also, this guy is a total creep! He just lures me into his caves, locks me in his back room, and forces me to fight stuff while he watches! There have to be some sort of laws against this sort of thing, right?
Hollow Knight is truly a gem. I'd love to say I can't stop playing it, but for the sake of YouTube, I'm going to have to. I can't go ruining the game too much. Sadly, though, as I say in the video, the first huge section was ruined because of a weird glitch. Well, I think it actually made for a slightly better intro (sans me complaining), because it takes a bit to master the controls and combat, so it's good I had the practice in before attempting a YouTube video. Hope you enjoy it! There's sure to be more to come!
This was a fun little thing to film. My brother (who is learning German, which is why Fallout is in German) was playing Fallout 4, and at one point he discovered an interesting camera glitch. He decided to Steam stream it so I could see, then agreed to try to replicate it for YouTube to enjoy. It took several tries, and I'm not sure we could replicate it again, so I hope you enjoy it! "What? You're trying to talk to him? Nonsense, keep looking at me! My research is much more interesting!"
